The Rotary Trivia Night is held at the Burdekin Junior Soccer Hall.
There is $500 for Lucky door sponsored by Tosh's, and a Jet Ski for 2 at Airlie Beach. BBQ and Drinks sold on the night. Get your team together and have some fun. Hoping to see you there.

Burdekin Library and Burdekin Early Childhood Network would like to invite you to our annual Ready, Set, Go! Event on Thursday 7th September, 9:00-11:30am at the Multi-purpose Shelter.
This event is to showcase the amazing community organisations and businesses that offer services in the Burdekin for children aged 0-5 and their families. A full morning of stalls, activities and demonstrations for helping young minds and bodies grow and assist in the transition from Kindy to Prep.
Free Entry and Shuttle buses running from Burdekin Library every 30 minutes.

Burdekin Library and Burdekin Readers & Writers Association Inc. are very excited to announce that we will be hosting two highly acclaimed Australian Authors, Melina Marchetta and Michael Gerard Bauer, as a part of our Book Week Celebrations.
Melina will be visiting Burdekin schools for author talks on Friday 18th August and Michael on Friday 25th August. Following their school visits, Burdekin Library will be hosting a Book Signing session with the authors from 3:30PM-4:30PM.

The centre is a Tax Help Centre where community members can access an ATO trained volunteer to help complete individuals tax returns online using MyGov.

We require Community Visitors for HOME HILL and AYR
We have elderly clients who are housebound and lonely. They feel trapped in their own homes and would love someone to call round and visit them. Their family members live away and some weeks no one would visit.
